Omega Google Ads: Home page

Home Page Overview

Home is the first screen you see in Omega Google Ads. It shows, in one place, whether your channels are set up and whether this month's orders reached Google Ads. It has three main functions:

  1. Functions Overview: which channels and optimization features are set up, and what to do next.
  2. Google Ads Conversion Delivery: how many orders Omega sent to Google Ads this month and how many were not sent yet. If orders were not sent, the How to improve? button starts a chat with support.
  3. Store Events Overview: the events Omega collected, and the Purchase Events Table with the delivery status of every order (see Purchase Events Table and Delivery Status)

What it is

1

Banners

Only the banners that still apply (reconnect Google, grant Data Manager access, pricing and Legacy notices, cross-sell, multi-market, campaign banners). The Enable app embed banner also stays here.

2

Hi, {shop name} + plan badge + language switcher

The badge shows your current plan, for example Free plan. Legacy plans show their own name.

3

Functions Overview

Two tabs: Channels and Optimization. Both are closed when you open Home.

4

Google Ads Conversion Delivery

Sent and not sent order counts per month.

5

Store Events Overview

Account and date filters, Refresh, Event activity, and the Purchase Events Table (see Purchase Events Table and Delivery Status)

Functions Overview

  • Click a tab to open it (opening one closes the other). Click a row to see its description and button. Each tab has a counter {d} of {t} set up: d is the number of items that are complete, t is the number of items available on your plan. Items locked on your plan are not counted, so a Free store can still reach t of t.
  • Locked items show a Paid plan badge with a lock. Clicking it opens the Upgrade to send more orders window (see "Plans and limits").

Progress of the Google Ads setup checklist. The button opens that screen.

Lead and Request a quote tracking are set up with Omega's help. The button opens chat with a ready message. After setup it reads Configured.

Primary Action Optimization

Badge Purchase

Good. Purchase is your only Primary conversion action.

Multiple primary actions, No primary action, or an action name such as Add to cart

Purchase should be your only Primary conversion action. This item has no button. Follow the guide "Make Omega's Purchase the only Primary conversion action".

Shopify Flow Automation

Four template names

Retry failed Google Ads conversions, Tag high-value Google Ads orders, Tag lifetime high-value customers, Weekly UTM performance report. Click a name to open it in Shopify Flow in a new tab. Omega cannot see which workflows you have turned on, so there is no Enabled or Disabled status and this item is not counted in {d} of {t}.

Google Ads Conversion Delivery

This card counts, month by month, the orders Omega delivered and not delivered to your Google Ads account.

You see

Meaning

Orders delivered to Google Ads

Orders in the month with status Delivered (Google Ads accepted the conversion).

Orders not delivered

Orders in the month that did not reach Google Ads: Held (plan limit reached) + Captured (only the ones stuck and not sent) + Rejected (Google refused) + Needs attention (status could not be verified). Shown in red with a How to improve? button when above 0.

No orders yet

The store has never had an order. Once orders come in, you will see how many reach Google Ads.

Two zeros

The store had orders before, but not in the selected month.

How to read it:

  • Month picker (for example October 2026) changes only this card. The Event activity and the table below keep their own range. Months before the app was installed and future months are disabled.
  • The card counts the whole shop (all Ads accounts) and counts orders, so one order sent to two accounts counts once. The Account filter lower on the page does not change this card.
  • Processing orders are in neither number, because Omega or Google is still working on them. A Captured order counts as not delivered only when it is stuck (gclid missing ...) and cannot be sent; a Captured order that is on its way does not. A Rejected order still counts toward the monthly limit, so the delivered number can be below the limit even when orders are Held. Example: a Free store with 19 Delivered and 1 Rejected has used its 20, and the next order is Held.
  • Old months stay available even after the detailed data retention period (Free 30 days, paid 90 days).
  • Held orders of an older month are not sent later, not even after an upgrade. Only Held orders of the month you upgrade in are released. So an old month can still show "not delivered" after the store upgraded.
  • Professional and Enterprise have no monthly limit, so they have no Held orders. Their "not delivered" number can still be above 0 because of Captured (stuck), Rejected or Needs attention orders.
  • Months before delivery status was released: show as app database can save
  • The card uses the monthly limit calendar (UTC+7), while the table uses the shop's report time zone, so numbers can differ by a few orders in the first and last hours of a month.

How to improve? (CS Guide)

This is the most important support flow on Home. The How to improve? button sits on the Delivery card (when the "not delivered" number is above 0) and inside the journey of a Held order. It is the merchant's one-tap way to ask: "Why are my orders not reaching Google Ads, and what do I fix?"

What the customer does and what CS receives

  1. The customer clicks How to improve?. A Contact support window opens with a ready message the customer can edit: Hi, I'd like to improve my Google Ads tracking quality. Please check my setup and guide me on what actions I should take.
  2. Send to support puts the message in the support chat and shows a confirmation. Cancel sends nothing.
  3. The message does not carry the month or the number of orders. Ask the customer which month they mean, or check the Delivery card and the table yourself.

Quick guide: what the status points to

What CS sees

Most likely side

Go to

Orders are Held

The monthly plan limit, not the setup

Row "Plan limit reached" below. Recommend the right plan: Starter for 21 to 100 orders, Professional above 100. Setup fixes do not release Held orders.

Orders are Rejected

Google refused the conversion

Open Track for the error group, then use the article Purchase Events Table and Delivery Status for the code. Many codes map to a row below.

Orders stay Captured or Processing

Setup is not finished, or Google is still processing

Rows in the "Send" stage (connection, conversion action). A new conversion action needs 4 to 6 hours.

Orders are Delivered but Google Ads shows fewer conversions than Shopify

Google accepted them but could not match all to ad clicks

Rows in the "Quality" stage (auto tagging, Enhanced Conversions, windows, consent)

Causes CS can list for the customers and guide them to fix

Cause (stage)

What it means and what it costs

How CS recognizes it

Steps for the customer

App embed is off (Receive)

Omega cannot capture the ad click ID on new orders in the store, so fewer orders can be matched to ads.

Verify item "App embed on the active theme". The Enable app embed banner still shows on Home.

1) Shopify admin → Online Store → Themes → Customize.
2) Open App embeds and turn on Omega Google Ads.
3) Save the theme

Auto tagging is off (Send)

The ad click ID (GCLID) is not added to ad links, so Omega has no click to match the order to. Affects every order.

Verify item "Auto tagging is on". A low Click ID coverage on the Signal Quality screen is a hint.

1) Google Ads → Admin → Account settings.
2) Open Auto tagging and turn on the tagging option.
3) Save

Plan limit reached (Plan)

Orders above the monthly limit (Free 20, Starter 100) are recorded but Held. Rejected orders also count toward the limit.

Held in the table, red number on the Delivery card.

Not a setup problem. Explain the limit and recommend the right plan. The upgrade releases only the Held orders of the current mont

Customer Data Terms not accepted (Quality)

Google rejects Enhanced Conversions uploads, so fewer orders match ad clicks. Normal conversions still go through.

Verify item "Customer Data Terms accepted".

1) Google Ads → Goals → Conversions → Settings.
2) Open Customer data terms and read them.
3) Accept and save.

Enhanced Conversions off (Quality)

Orders without a click ID are not credited to ads. Conversions still go through.

Verify item "Enhanced conversions enabled".

1) Google Ads → Goals → Conversions → Settings.
2) Turn on Enhanced conversions with the Google tag method.
3) Agree to the customer data terms and sa

Store Events Overview

At the top: Account filter, date range (default This month, locked to This month on Free), and Refresh, which reloads the delivery card, Event activity and the table together.

Event activity

Shows events collected with visitor consent (visitors who declined are never sent to Google). Big numbers: Add to cart, Begin checkout, Purchase. View 5 more events adds View content, Search, Add payment info, Lead, Request a quote. A link leads to View detailed analytics. Purchase here is all Purchases recorded in the range, so it is always equal to or higher than the "sent" number on the delivery card.

Purchase Events Table

The table lists every Purchase with its delivery status, conversion journey and value, and can be filtered and exported. Columns, the six delivery statuses, the Track journey and the error codes are explained in Purchase Events Table and Delivery Status.

FAQ

  1. Does Omega stop tracking when I reach the limit? No. Orders are still recorded. Orders above the limit are Held and not delivered to Google Ads.
  2. Can I send Held orders later? Upgrading in the same month releases that month's Held orders. Older months are not released.
  3. Does the month picker change the table? No, it changes only the Delivery card.
