Omega Google Ads: Muti-market tracking
Overview
Market & Events restructures the way Omega Google Ads manages tracking, from a channel-centric model (separate tabs for Google Ads, GA4, and GTM) to a market-centric model. Each Shopify market now gets its own dedicated tracking configuration.
π Clean, market-separated data means stronger first-party signals to Google AI and better ad performance per region.
π If you sell to more than one Shopify market, this screen lets you send each region's data to its own GA4 property, GTM container, and Google Ads account, instead of blending everything under one setup.

Before the Markets table, two cards give you an at-a-glance summary of your setup.
- Signal Quality tells you how your data is currently separated. For example,
Unified Β· 4 regions under one configmeans you sell to 4 Shopify markets but track them all under one Global configuration. As you add dedicated market configs, this card reflects how cleanly your signals are separated. - Connected Google Accounts lists the Google accounts linked to Omega Google Ads and which market each one is used by (for example,
Used by Global). Use + Connect another to authorize an additional Google account when a market needs its own.
The plan bar shows your current plan and usage, for example Free plan Β· 0 of 0 custom markets configured. Use Manage plan to change limits. Guide doc and Ask product team in the header give you extra help at any time.

- Global tracking π Global is the baseline configuration that applies to your entire store. Any Shopify market that does not have its own custom configuration automatically falls back to the Global settings. Global is marked
Defaultin the Markets table. - Market tracking π A market is a Shopify market you have given its own dedicated configuration, with its own GA4, GTM, Google Ads, and Remarketing accounts. Data from that market then routes to its own destinations instead of Global's.
- Inherit default settings π When you add a market, you can tick Use the default tracking configuration by the app to start from the app's recommended setup, then edit only what you need. This saves you from configuring every field by hand.

${color}[rgb(var(--black))](Frequently asked questions)
- Do I need to set up separate markets if I only sell in one country? β No. If you operate in a single region, you can rely on the Global configuration. Market & Events is designed for merchants who need different tracking across regions.
- Can two markets share the same Google Ads account? β Yes. You can link the same Google Ads account to Global and to a custom market. Google Ads records conversion actions per market, so your data stays distinguishable.
- Can two markets share the same GA4 property or GTM container? β For clean, separated data we recommend a dedicated GA4 property and GTM container per market. Sharing one property across markets mixes their data back together, which defeats the purpose of market-separated tracking.
- What is the difference between Active and Draft? β Active markets track live. Draft markets save their configuration without firing any tracking, so you can prepare a setup and turn it on later.
- Why do my events show "Pending"? β Pending means the event has not yet been verified as firing to the channel. Once Trakpilot confirms it, the status updates.
