1. What is Realtime Event Testing?
Realtime Event Testing helps you check whether your TikTok Pixel & Conversion API are sending events correctly — in real time.
Right after you connect a Pixel with a Conversion API token, you can immediately:
- See every event firing live
- Verify if the setup is correct
- Debug missing or incorrect values
- Compare expected vs actual event parameters
2. When should you use it?
Use Realtime Event Testing when:
- You just added a new TikTok Pixel (but with Conversion API)
- You changed themes or updated your storefront
- You installed a new app that may interfere with Pixel
- Your ads aren’t spending → TikTok may not receive enough events
- Purchases are missing or being counted incorrectly
- You want to validate events before launching Smart Campaigns
This ensures your TikTok account gathers enough clean signals for optimization.
3. How to Access Realtime Event Testing
Step 1 — Add a Pixel with Conversion API token
Once you add a new pixel that includes a Conversion API token, Omega is ready to activate real-time testing.
Step 2 — Modal appears
You will see a confirmation message:

Your Pixel has been added successfully.
Do you want to test real-time events now?
Click “Yes, test now” to start.
Step 3 — You are taken to the “Live event testing” tab
- Your newly-added Pixel is automatically selected
- Event monitoring starts immediately after users take action on your storefront
- No setup required
