Require Return All Items from BOGO/Bundle Deals

The Require Return All Items from BOGO/Bundle Deals feature ensures that customers must return all items from a promotional discount (BOGO or Bundle) together. Partial returns from these promotional orders are not permitted, helping merchants maintain the integrity of their discount promotions and prevent abuse.

This feature addresses a common merchant concern: customers purchasing items under promotional discounts (like "Buy 2 Get 1 Free" or bundle deals) and then returning only the items they paid full price for while keeping the discounted/free items.

I - Setup in Shopify Admin

1. Create a discount in your Shopify Admin using one of the following discount types:

• • Buy X Get Y (e.g., "Buy 2 Get 1 Free", "Buy 1 Get 1 50% Off")
  • Amount off products (e.g., "Bundle: Save $20 when buying these 3 items")

2. Configure your discount rules according to your promotion requirements
3. When customers make a purchase that satisfies the discount conditions, the discount is automatically applied at checkout

III - Configuration in Synctrack Returns & Exchanges

1. Navigate to the Settings > Policies in Synctrack Returns & Exchanges app

1. Enable the rule: "Require return all items from BOGO/Bundle Deals"
2. Save your settings

IV - Customer Return Experience

When a customer initiates a return through your Synctrack return portal:

1. Discount Detection: The system automatically identifies orders containing Shopify discounts (Buy X Get Y or Amount off products)
2. Item Selection: all the products from BOGO combo will be put into one box and your customer need to return all products from combo with the same return reason.
