Reserve stock on request for exchange

Overview


In Synctrack Returns, merchant can set up exchange advance rules to optimize the exchange workflow. The “Reserve stock on request” feature allows the system to hold inventory as soon as a customer submits an exchange request, before the request is approved. This stock is immediately deducted once the customer submits the request to reduce the risks of our of stock exchange products.


How to enable Reserve stock on request for exchange?

Go to Settings > Configuration

  • Tick checkbox "Reserve stock on request for exchange"
  • Click "Save"



How it works?

Assume:

  • Product A has 50 units in stock.
  • Customer submits an exchange request for 1 unit.

The feature is only available when you enable the Exchange option in your Settings.
