Translate limit notifications (Auto & Manual)

If you sell globally, you can display your limit notifications (Min, Max, and Multiple) in your customers' preferred languages. This ensures a seamless shopping experience for international buyers.

  1. Where to find Language Settings
  • Go to your Pareto app admin
  • Create a new limit or click Edit on an existing one
  • Switch to the Message settings tab
  • Look for the language Dropdown on the top right corner of the Notification box

  1. Language Dropdown
  • The app automatically syncs the languages you have published in your Shopify Admin
  • 🟢 Green dot: This language already has translated messages.
  • Grey dot: This language is missing translations.
  • Default Language: The language marked as "(Default)" acts as your fallback. If a customer browses your store in a language that has a grey dot, the app will automatically show them the Default Language instead of a blank message.

  1. How to translate your messages
  • Auto translate (Available on the Basic plan): The app will automatically translate all languages using your Default language as the source. You can always click on any language to review or edit the results
  • Manual translate: Select a language and type your manual translates for notification into the boxes.

  1. Important notes
  • Do not remove variables: When translating manually, make sure to keep the dynamic variables exactly as they are (e.g., %min, %max, %m). The app needs these to display the correct numbers to your customers.
  • Missing a language? If a language does not appear in the Pareto dropdown, please go to your Shopify Admin > Settings > Languages and make sure that language is added and published.
