Articles on: [Shopify Platform] Blockify - Fraud IP Blocker

A complete guide: Plans and billing

Overview

The Pricing page in the left navigation is where you compare plans, choose monthly or annual billing, add extras, apply a discount code and change or cancel your plan. All charges go through your Shopify bill.

What you'll learn

Plans and what they include

The page shows three plan cards: Free, Premium and Enterprise. If your store is on Shopify Plus, it shows the Free and Shopify Plus cards instead, and the Shopify Plus card also has a Book a demo button. Each plan includes everything in the plan before it. Prices are in USD and shown as the monthly price.

Free trial

Paid plans start with a 3-day free trial. Your current plan shows "Free until {{date}}. Nothing is charged before that." You can cancel at any time during the trial at no cost.

Free plan limits

On the Free plan, the visitor allowance does not reset. When the first 200 unique visitors are recorded, Analytics stops recording new visitors, but your rules and protections keep blocking. Free analytics shows the last 7 days. See A complete guide: Home page for the banners that warn you before you reach a limit.

Monthly or annual billing

Use the Monthly / Annually toggle above the plan cards. Annually carries a Save 15% badge; on it, each card shows Billed yearly · Save $X under the price.

You choose how many visitors you need up front with Visitors / year, or pick Unlimited visitor tracking. No extra usage on an annual plan.

Visitor quota and extra visitors

On a paid plan, your current plan card at the top of Pricing shows Unique visitors tracked as used / included and the date it Resets. On a monthly plan it also shows Extra usage as spent / max; an annual plan has no extra usage, so that row is not shown.

When a monthly plan runs out of included visitors, Blockify adds a step of extra visitors for you. A banner We added {{visitors}} visitors tracked to this period confirms it. The amount goes on your next Shopify invoice; nothing to approve.

Plan

Each extra step

Maximum steps per period

Premium

Enterprise

Shopify Plus

When all 3 steps are used, the banner You've used all the extra visitors on {{plan}} appears. You can approve a new charge for the rest of the period (Shopify asks you to approve it the first time), or click Upgrade to Unlimited. Until you do, visitors over the quota are saved but hidden from Analytics. If you do not move to a higher tier by the date in the banner, those hidden visitors are deleted.

Important: The visitor quota only affects what Analytics records. Your rules and protections keep blocking at all times.

Add-ons

Add-ons are under Add-on service at the bottom of each paid plan card; click it to expand. It holds the Unlimited visitor tracking checkbox with its price and the Data history menu; on Annually it also has the Visitors / year menu.

Data history

Blockify keeps 2 months of visitor data by default (Standard, 2 months). In the Data history menu, choose a longer window. Data older than your window drops out of Analytics. The price is the same on every paid plan; on annual billing, the yearly price applies.

Apply a discount code

Step 1: On Pricing, click Add discount code under the Monthly / Annually toggle.

Step 2: In the Apply discount code dialog, enter the code in Discount code and click Apply. The message Discount code applied confirms it, and the plan cards show the discounted price.

  • A code can apply to monthly plans, annual plans or both. On an annual plan, if the standard 15% annual saving is better than the code, Blockify keeps the annual saving instead.
  • One discount at a time. Codes do not stack.
  • To use another code, click Change code.

Upgrade, downgrade or cancel

Step 1: On Pricing, click the button on the new plan's card: Select plan, Start 3-day free trial or Upgrade to Enterprise to move up, Downgrade to move down. Your own plan's card reads Your current plan.

Step 2: Check the confirmation. To move up, the Change to ? dialog shows the new price, the discount code, the days left in your current cycle and what is charged today; click Confirm change. To move down, the **Downgrade to ** dialog lists what you keep and lose (see below); click Downgrade.

Step 3: Shopify asks you to approve the charge. After you approve, Your new plan is active. appears. If you decline, nothing changes.

Every change applies at once. On an upgrade you pay only the difference for the days left in your current cycle. On a downgrade, Shopify credits the unused part of your current charge.

What changes when you downgrade

The **Downgrade to ** dialog lists You’ll keep and You’ll lose.

  • To Premium: if you have more than 50 active rules, your newest active rules are turned off to fit the limit.
  • To Free: the change is immediate. Active rules above the 2-rule limit are turned off; turn back on the ones you want to keep. Paid protections stop at once, including VPN and Tor blocking, internet provider (ISP), referrer URL and IP range rules, Fraud Filters actions, Block Checkout rules and behavior controls. The Blockify logo returns to your blocking page.

Your rules are kept when they are turned off, so you can turn them on again later.

Cancel your plan

Click Downgrade on the Free card on Pricing and confirm. The change is immediate and paid features stop right away.
