Auto Tags Customer & Order - General settings
This is the Settings interface:
Make sure the app is enabled to work on your store. If you disable the app because of any reason, please contact us so that we can support you as well as improve the performance.
Reprocess tag:
Reprocess tag is used when you would like to add tags to the old orders in your store or re-tag your orders with new rules.
There are 4 ways you can reprocess the tags for order:
By order id: enter one order id and click update
In time: choose the period of time you want to tag the orders and click update
For all existing orders
Note: The app will allow you to add tags to orders within the last 60 days, for older orders before that time, you need to give the app access.
There are some reasons for merchants to use Reprocess tag feature:
To identify which Sales Channels are performing well for future marketing efforts
To identify multiple open orders from the same Customer to reduce shipping costs
To tag open orders with the selected delivery date
To remove old tags based on the current order status
To tag the current orders with your new tags
Processing Delay
There are many Shopify apps that also add tags or make an update to orders at the same time. This will cause some order data to be overwritten.
Allowing the app to run after a certain time can prevent clashes with other apps.
