Configure Return Address/ Warehouse
Overview
The Synctrack return address allows you to manage multiple return warehouses so that returns are routed to the correct location based on the logistics setup.
How to set up the Return address?
Step 1: Go to Settings > Warehouses

Step 2: Add the details of Warehouse information
This is including:
- Store name: to display name on email and other places.
- Email address: this mail will be used to contact customers.
Step 3: Sync the address from Shopify admin
- Click "Sync from Shopify" to sync all address from your Store location admin

- Create new address to return (optional)
Step 4: Set a default return address
In Settings → Warehouses, open the row menu of the address you use most and click Set as default. The address is then marked with a Default badge.
The default address is the one Synctrack puts first whenever your customer is shown more than one return address. Setting it does not stop you from using the other addresses, it only decides which one leads.

How it works?
- How the return address is chosen?
A return can get its address in one of two ways:
- Automatically, by a workflow. If a condition-based workflow with the action Route to the return address / warehouse matches the return, Synctrack locks that warehouse to the return the moment it is created. This wins over everything else.
- Manually, by you. If no workflow routed the return, you pick the address while approving the request, exactly as before.
- When a return has not been routed and you have not picked an address, Synctrack shows your customer the full list of your return addresses, with the Default one first.

- Where the return address appears
Once a return is routed to a warehouse, that single address is used everywhere your customer sees it:
- the return address on the packing slip,
- the return address in the email notification sent to your customer,
- the address shown on the return portal after the request is submitted.
If the return was never routed, the email lists every return address you have set up, so your customer can choose where to ship.

Deleting a warehouse
If you delete a return address that a live workflow routes to, Synctrack does not silently break the workflow. The workflow is switched to Draft and stops running until you point it at another address and enable it again. Check Settings → Workflows after removing an address.
