Add a note above or below your discount widget

Show a short line of text right above or below any Pareto widget on your product page, for example "Prices exclude VAT" or "Discount applied automatically at checkout".

What it does

The widget note is a single line of plain text (up to 200 characters) that appears directly above or directly below the widget. Use it to explain conditions, taxes, shipping, or anything customers should know before they pick a tier, without editing your theme.

It works for every campaign type shown on the product page: quantity breaks, One Discount, Buy X Get Y, Bundle (including Frequently Bought Together and Add-ons), Build Your Own Bundle, and Order discount. It is available on all plans, including Free.

How to set it up

  1. Open the campaign and go to the Display settings tab.
  2. Expand the Campaign details card. The new option sits right under Show campaign name.
  3. Tick Show widget note.
  4. In Position, choose Below widget or Above widget.
  5. Type your text in the Note field. The counter shows how many of the 200 characters you have used.
  6. Check the Product Page - Preview on the right, then click Save.

Translating the note

If your store has more than one language, switch to another language in the campaign editor. The Note field shows your primary text by default. Replace it with the translation and click Save, or use AI auto-translate all on eligible plans. Languages without a translation fall back to the primary text.

Important notes

  • The note is plain text only. HTML, links, and line breaks are not supported; pasted line breaks become spaces.
  • If Show widget note is on and the Note field is empty, the campaign cannot be saved. Add text or turn the option off.
  • The note is hidden whenever the widget is hidden, including when a countdown ends with "Hide discount & Show text".
  • Turning the option off keeps your text, so you can turn it back on later.
  • To change the font size or color, add Custom CSS targeting the .omg-widget-note class.
