How to connect POS and create bookings in person
Add the booking app to your Shopify POS, then create and manage bookings in person from the POS device.
A. How to connect POS
On the POS home screen, add the booking app as a tile. Follow these six steps:

- Add a tile from the POS home screen.
- Select App from the tile types.
- Select D: Rental Booking Appointment from the app list.
- Add the app to the POS.
- Save the tile.
- Open the app — the new tile is now on the home screen.
B. Add a manual booking & manage bookings
Manage bookings
Opening the tile shows Booking Manager on the POS device — the same list as in the admin (Rental / Workshop tabs, search, filters, statuses) where you can view and manage bookings. To create one in person, select New Booking.

The Manual booking screen has the same parts as in the admin, in this order: 1) Override availability, 2) Status, 3) Booking widget, 4) Customer information, 5) Save.

- Override availability — enable to ignore blocked days and unavailable slots and show all time slots as available.
- Status — defaults to Pending; choose another if needed.
- Booking widget — Just make every selection — service, date, time slot and quantity — and the choices are kept as you go. Once everything is selected, continue to Customer information below to complete the booking.

Finally, fill in the customer fields and save: Name (required), Email (required), Location, Phone

After the customer fields are filled, select Add booking to save and complete the booking. It then appears in Booking Manager on both POS and the admin.
