Initial Setup
Before creating your first service, complete two things: enable the app embed in Shopify so the widget displays on your storefront, and configure General Settings for your store.
Activate widget — Enable app embed in Shopify
For the Booknatic widget to display on your storefront, the app embed must be active in your theme.
- Go to Shopify admin → Online Store → Themes → Customize.
- Click the App embeds icon in the left sidebar (puzzle piece).
- Find Booknatic in the list → toggle it on.
- Click Save in the top right.

After enabling the app embed, go to the Booknatic Home page and check the Widget Status area:
- If it shows
Active→ the widget is working. - If you see a yellow banner "Widget is not active yet" → click Active widget.
General Settings
Go to Settings → General settings.

Store Timezone | Your store's timezone. All booking logic is based on this timezone. |
Allow customers choosing timezone | Allows customers to select their own timezone so they can identify the exact time of their booking. If turned off, the system displays times in the merchant's timezone by default. |
Time Format | 12h (AM/PM) or 24h. |
Address | Toggle on and enter your address if customers need to come to your location. |
Break time | Time blocks where slots cannot be booked (lunch break, cleanup between shifts). |
How to add Break time
- Click + Add break time in the top right.
- Choose the day — Every day or a specific day.
- Enter start and end times (e.g.,
12:00 → 13:00). - Click Save.
You can add multiple break times by repeating the steps above.
