💸 Show crossed-out prices on product page
You can display the original price with a strikethrough beside the discounted price in two ways. This helps customers clearly see how much they save.
Method 1 – Use Shopify “Compare-at price”
- In Shopify Admin → Products → Pricing, set a higher value in Compare-at price than in Price.

- Click Save.
Example on your store:

⚠️ Important:
By default, Pareto discounts are calculated from the product price, not the compare-at price.
If you use this method, go to your One Discount offer → **Rule settings → Discount source based on → Select “Compare-at price.” **(only available in One Discount Type)
Method 2 – Use Pareto Advanced Settings
- From Shopify Admin → Apps → P: Quantity Breaks, open Boost Conversion.
- In the Boost Conversion, check on Show discounted price.
- Click Save.
Pareto will automatically show the original price crossed-out and the discounted price (using our app to setup) beside it.

On the product page, Pareto replaces your theme's price with:
- the original price, crossed out
- a discount badge (for example, 15%)
- the discounted price per item

How it behaves
- The price updates as the customer changes the quantity, and shows the discount for the tier they reach.
- If the selected quantity doesn't qualify for any tier yet (for example, your first tier starts at 2 items), your theme's normal price is shown until it does.
- This setting only affects the product page.
💡 Tips
- Use only one method at a time. If you use both, the product page may show two crossed-out prices.
- Want discounts on collection pages too? That's a separate feature. Go to Boost conversion → Show on collection page → Customize, then check Show discount on collection page. It shows your tiered pricing on collection pages and requires the Professional plan.
- Price not changing on your theme? Some custom themes use a price element Pareto can't detect automatically. Contact us and we'll set it up for your theme.
