How it works

Today's Deals is a display layer under Boost Conversion that gathers all your active Pareto campaigns into one place for shoppers. It reads your existing campaigns and displays them automatically, without creating or modifying any discount rules.

Four display types are available, and you can use them at the same time:

Display type

What it does

Card style

Floating drawer

Side panel that slides in from the edge of the screen

Full deal card

Floating button

Sticky pill button with a compact popover

Row card (thumbnail + save badge)

Deals hub page

Standalone page at /pages/deals with filtering

Full deal card (grid or list)

Inline section

Embeddable block for any page via the theme editor

Mini card (carousel) or full card (grid/list)

Requirement: Basic plan and above.

Getting started

These steps apply to all display types:

  1. In the Pareto admin, go to Boost Conversion > Today's Deals.
  2. Turn on Widget status (top right). This is the master switch for all placements.
  3. Click the tab for the display type you want.
  4. Click Add block to theme to open the theme editor and add the corresponding app block.
  5. Configure the type-specific settings described below, then save.

Floating drawer

A side tab on your store opens a full-height panel with all active deals.

Settings

  • Tab label: text on the side tab. Leave empty to hide the tab.
  • Tab position: choose a corner (default: Top right) and adjust offset with the sliders.
  • Deals to show: 1 to 10 (default: 10).

Floating button

A pill-shaped button floats on your pages. Clicking it opens a compact popover listing deals.

Settings

  • Button label: text shown on the button.
  • Button position: choose a corner (default: Bottom left) and adjust offset.
  • Deals to show: 1 to 10 (default: 5).
  • Footer link: where "See all deals" points to: Deals hub page, a collection, a custom URL, or none.

The popover opens toward available space. A bottom-left button opens the popover upward.

Deals hub page

A standalone page at /pages/deals or any with a hero section, filter bar, and deal cards.

How to set up

  1. In Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Pages and create a new page (e.g. "Deals" or "Today's Deals").
  2. Open the theme editor, navigate to the page you just created.
  3. Add the Deals hub page app block as a section on that page.
  4. In the theme editor, choose the layout for the section: Grid (2 to 4 columns, default) or List.
  5. Save the theme.
  6. Back in the Pareto admin under Boost Conversion > Today's Deals, click the Deals hub page tab.
  7. Paste the page URL (e.g. /pages/deals) into the Page URL field so the app knows which page to render on.

Settings

  • Page URL: read-only. Copy the link to add it to your navigation menu.
  • Deals to show: 1 to 10 (default: 10).
  • Show breadcrumb: toggle breadcrumb navigation at the top.
  • Layout (in theme editor): Grid (2 to 4 columns, default) or List.

Shoppers can filter deals by type (e.g. "Bundle & save", "Buy more, save more"). Filters are generated from your active campaigns.

Inline section

An embeddable block you can place on any page: home, product, collection, or custom.

Settings

  • Deals to show: 1 to 10 (default: 5).
  • Layout (in theme editor): Carousel (default), Grid, or List.

Note: Carousel uses compact mini cards, so card elements like countdown timer, tier ladder, and progress bar are not available in this layout.

Manage campaigns

Campaign settings apply across all placements.

Star a campaign to feature it. Starred campaigns appear first and can show a "HOT" badge or "Featured" mark. Drag and drop to reorder starred campaigns.

Sort the rest by: Ending soon (default), Biggest saving, Newest, or Most claimed.

Auto-hide ended campaigns is on by default. Turn it off to keep ended campaigns visible.

Text, colors, and card elements

Text and labels

Each placement has its own text fields. Switch tabs to edit per placement. You can customize title, subtitle, button label, badge label, deal type tags, and more.

Use the {...} button to insert variables like {{total_save}}, {{discount}}, or {{time_left}}. To translate, use the Translate control at the top-right corner and apply AI Auto-translate or edit manually.

Style and colors

Match store theme is on by default, inheriting your theme's fonts and colors. Turn it off to customize 11 color settings (accent, button, tag, badge, discount, gift, card bg/text) and corner radius (0 to 24px). Use the Light or Dark preset to fill all colors at once, then fine-tune.

Card elements

Per-placement toggles for full deal cards: countdown timer, tier ladder, progress bar, claimed social proof, HOT badge, and featured mark. Gift/cross-sell options: product image, product link, and preview popup.

Countdown sync

Countdown timers stay in sync across product pages and the deals page within the same browsing session. The timer only resets when the shopper starts a new session.

Good to know

  • Widget status is a master switch. To disable just one placement, remove its block from the theme editor.
  • Use Copy settings from... in the tab menu to duplicate settings between placements.
  • Scheduled campaigns only appear during their active window.
  • The widget respects campaign targeting. Shoppers only see deals they qualify for.
  • If two floating placements overlap, a warning appears in the admin.
  • The app embed must be enabled. If not, a warning banner appears.
