Sync orders to Google Calendar

Sync orders to Google Calendar

Push your scheduled orders into Google Calendar so your team sees pickups and deliveries on the calendar they already use.

This feature requires the Smart plan or above.

Overview

Connect a Google account and DingDoong adds your scheduled orders to Google Calendar, so fulfillment shows up alongside the rest of your day. You control how far back to sync.

Syncing reads your scheduled orders and writes calendar events — it doesn't change the orders themselves.

Before you start

  • You're on the Smart plan or above.
  • You have a Google account to connect.

How to connect Google Calendar

Here's how, step by step:

Step 1: Open the Google Calendar sync

In Order report, find the Google Calendar sync section.

Step 2: Connect your Google account

Click connect and authorize DingDoong. Once connected, a Connected badge appears.

Step 3: Choose the sync range

Pick how far back to sync: Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 60 days, or a custom range.

Step 4: Sync

Run the sync. Your scheduled orders appear as events in Google Calendar. Use the calendar link to open it.

Common scenarios

Shared team calendar

Connect a shared Google account so the whole fulfillment team sees the schedule.

Catch up on recent orders

Use Last 30/60 days to backfill recent orders after connecting.

Specific period

Use a custom range to sync just a campaign or season.

Tips & Best practices

Connect a shared/team Google account rather than a personal one, so the schedule stays visible even when one person is away.

Re-sync after a busy period or use a custom range to capture orders placed before you connected.

Troubleshooting

The sync option is disabled?

It requires the Smart plan or above. Upgrade to enable it — see Plans, billing & upgrades.

Orders aren't appearing on the calendar?

Confirm the account is Connected, pick a sync range that covers the orders, and run the sync again.

FAQ

How do I disconnect?

Use the Disconnect button in the Google Calendar sync section.

Does it sync future orders automatically?

Set the range to cover the period you need and re-sync; check the section for the current sync behavior on your account.
