Watermark Type: New Arrivals

This document explains how to configure the New Arrivals watermark type in Consentik – Product Watermark. This watermark is used to highlight newly published products on your store.

Overview

The New Arrivals watermark is similar to the On Sale watermark in terms of placement and visual configuration. However, it does not support tiling and includes an additional time-based condition to control how long the watermark is displayed after a product is published.

Watermark Source

Upload Image

Upload a custom image to use as the New Arrivals watermark.

For best results, use high-quality images with transparent backgrounds.

Library Selection

Select a predefined New Arrivals watermark from the app’s built-in library.

The library includes ready-made designs optimized for highlighting new products.

Configuration Options

Position

Choose where the New Arrivals watermark appears on the image:

  • Top left
  • Top right
  • Bottom left
  • Bottom right
  • Middle left
  • Middle right
  • Middle center

Placement Area

Define where the watermark can be placed:

  • Within fill area: The watermark is positioned within the visible content area after image scaling or cropping
  • Within image area: The watermark is positioned based on the original image boundaries

Placement Layer

Control how the watermark is layered relative to the product image:

  • In foreground
  • In background

Scale

Adjust the size of the watermark.

The scale range is from 10% to 130%.

Visibility

Control the opacity of the watermark.

The visibility range is from 3% to 100%.

Margin X

Set the horizontal distance between the watermark and the left or right edge of the image.

The value is measured in pixels (px).

Margin Y

Set the vertical distance between the watermark and the top or bottom edge of the image.

The value is measured in pixels (px).

Rotation

Rotate the watermark.

The rotation range is from 0 to 180 degrees.

Time Limit After Publish

Set how long the New Arrivals watermark should be applied after a product is published.

Once the specified time limit is reached, the watermark will no longer be applied to the product images automatically.

This allows you to highlight new products only during a defined launch period.

Apply To

Choose which images within a product the New Arrivals watermark should be applied to:

  • All images
  • First photo only
  • Skip first photo
  • Second photo only
