Watermark Type: On Sale

This document explains how to configure the On Sale watermark type in Consentik – Product Watermark. The On Sale watermark is used to highlight discounted or promotional products directly on product images.

Overview

The On Sale watermark behaves similarly to the Logo watermark in terms of placement, scaling, visibility, and tiling. In addition to uploading a custom image, you can also choose from the app’s built-in library. This watermark type also provides additional position options for more flexible placement.

Watermark Source

Upload Image

Upload a custom image to use as the On Sale watermark.

For best results, use high-quality images with transparent backgrounds.

Library Selection

Select a predefined On Sale watermark from the app’s built-in library.

The library includes ready-made designs optimized for sales and promotions, allowing you to apply them quickly without creating custom assets.

Configuration Options

Position

Choose where the On Sale watermark appears on the image:

• Top left
• Top right
• Bottom left
• Bottom right
• Middle left
• Middle right
• Middle center

Placement Area

Define where the watermark can be placed:

• Within fill area: The watermark is positioned within the visible content area after image scaling or cropping
• Within image area: The watermark is positioned based on the original image boundaries

Placement Layer

Control how the watermark is layered relative to the product image:

• In foreground
• In background

Scale

Adjust the size of the watermark.

The scale range is from 10% to 130%.

Visibility

Control the opacity of the watermark.

The visibility range is from 3% to 100%.

Margin X

Set the horizontal distance between the watermark and the left or right edge of the image.

The value is measured in pixels (px).

Margin Y

Set the vertical distance between the watermark and the top or bottom edge of the image.

The value is measured in pixels (px).

Rotation

Rotate the watermark.

The rotation range is from 0 to 180 degrees.

Apply To

Choose which images within a product the On Sale watermark should be applied to:

• All images
• First photo only
• Skip first photo
• Second photo only
