Watermark Type: Out of Stock
This document explains how to configure the Out of Stock watermark type in Consentik – Product Watermark. This watermark is used to clearly indicate products that are currently unavailable.
Overview
The Out of Stock watermark is similar to the On Sale watermark in terms of visual configuration and placement. However, it does not support tiling. The watermark is applied automatically based on the product’s stock status.
Watermark Source
Upload Image
Upload a custom image to use as the Out of Stock watermark.
For best results, use high-quality images with transparent backgrounds.
Library Selection
Select a predefined Out of Stock watermark from the app’s built-in library.
The library includes ready-made designs optimized for unavailable or sold-out products.
Configuration Options
Position
Choose where the Out of Stock watermark appears on the image:
- Top left
- Top right
- Bottom left
- Bottom right
- Middle left
- Middle right
- Middle center
Placement Area
Define where the watermark can be placed:
- Within fill area: The watermark is positioned within the visible content area after image scaling or cropping
- Within image area: The watermark is positioned based on the original image boundaries
Placement Layer
Control how the watermark is layered relative to the product image:
- In foreground
- In background
Scale
Adjust the size of the watermark.
The scale range is from 10% to 130%.
Visibility
Control the opacity of the watermark.
The visibility range is from 3% to 100%.
Margin X
Set the horizontal distance between the watermark and the left or right edge of the image.
The value is measured in pixels (px).
Margin Y
Set the vertical distance between the watermark and the top or bottom edge of the image.
The value is measured in pixels (px).
Rotation
Rotate the watermark.
The rotation range is from 0 to 180 degrees.
Apply To
Choose which images within a product the Out of Stock watermark should be applied to:
- All images
- First photo only
- Skip first photo
- Second photo only
