Submit Stripe Dispute Evidence with Auto-fill
Stripe Dispute Management is marked BETA in-app — it's live this release while we finish validating, so some steps may change.
When you respond to a Stripe dispute, Synctrack pre-fills the evidence packet from data it already has — your tracking and your Shopify order — so you mostly review instead of type. Stripe allows only one submission, so Synctrack lets you save a draft and review everything before you commit.
Submit evidence
- Click on an open dispute on Dispute list to navigate to the dispute details screen

- Click Submit evidence.

- Synctrack auto-fills the fields it can from your tracking and Shopify order: tracking number, carrier, shipping date, shipping & billing address, customer name/email, customer purchase IP, and product description. Auto-filled fields are tagged so you can tell them apart.

- Review each field. Fields with no synced data or file are left blank for you to fill in and upload.

- If you are not ready to submit yet, simply click Cancel. The system will automatically save your progress as a draft, and nothing will be sent to the bank.
- When you're ready, click Submit → The dispute moves to Under review.

Accept a dispute instead
If you don't intend to contest:
- Click Accept dispute and confirm (a two-step confirm prevents mistakes).

- The case is closed in your favor conceding; this is permanent and the dispute fee is not returned.
Good to know
- Only one submission — always review carefully. After Submit you can't edit.
- Evidence files must be real attachments, not links — card networks don't open links.
- Limits apply across all fields: text ≤ 150,000 characters, files ≤ 4.5 MB total.
- To submit you need a key with Files: Write. If it's missing, Stripe returns a permission error and Synctrack shows a banner with steps to add the scope — your disputes stay fully visible in the meantime.
