View and Filter Dispute Lists
Once Dispute settings are done, the Dispute tab gives you every PayPal dispute across your connected stores and PayPal accounts in one place — so nothing slips past a deadline.
Open the Disputes list
Go to the Dispute tab and open the Paypal tab — this is where your PayPal disputes appear. Each column tells you something at a glance:
- Dispute ID — the case's unique ID in PayPal, so you can match it with your PayPal account.
- Order — the linked Shopify order (click to open it), or Not linked if the order didn't sync through Synctrack.
- Amount — the amount of money being disputed.
- Reason — why the buyer opened the case (for example, Product not received, Unauthorized payment, or Duplicate transaction).
- Dispute stage — where the case currently sits in PayPal's process (for example, waiting for your response, under PayPal review, or resolved).
- Result — the outcome of the case, colour-coded:
Won — the case was decided in your favour; you keep the funds.
Lost — the case was decided in the buyer's favour; the funds go back to them.
Prevented — the dispute was resolved before it turned into a chargeback (for example, you refunded or reached an agreement with the buyer), so it didn't end as a loss.
Pending — the case is still open and has no final outcome yet.
- Deadline — the date by which you need to respond to PayPal. A dash (—) means no action is needed from you right now.

Search, filter, and export
- Search by Dispute ID or Transaction ID.
- Click Add filter to narrow by Account, Status, Reason, or Result.
- Pick a date range (for example, Last 30 days) and set Record per page.
- Click Export to download the list — your active filters are applied to the export.

Note: Disputes filed on a PayPal/Stripe account you've connected still appear here even if the related order wasn't synced through Synctrack — those rows show Not linked in the Order column.
