Watermark Type: Text

This document explains how to configure the Text watermark type in Consentik – Product Watermark. The Text watermark allows you to display custom text on product images with flexible styling and placement options.

Overview

The Text watermark shares most behavior and settings with the Logo watermark, except for logo upload and placement area options. It also includes additional configurations specific to text content and styling.

Text-Specific Configuration

Custom Text

Enter the text content that will appear on the product images.

This can be your brand name, copyright notice, promotional message, or any custom text.

Font Family

Specify the font family used to render the text watermark.

It is recommended to choose a font that matches your brand identity and ensures good readability on images.

Font Color

Select the color of the text watermark.

Choose a color with sufficient contrast to keep the text visible across different product images.

Common Configuration Options

The following settings behave the same as other watermark types such as Logo.

Position

Define the base position of the text on the image:

• Top left
• Top right
• Bottom left
• Bottom right

Placement Layer

Control how the text is layered relative to the product image:

• In foreground
• In background

Scale

Adjust the size of the text watermark.

The scale range is from 10% to 130%.

Visibility

Control the opacity of the text watermark.

The visibility range is from 3% to 100%.

Margin X

Set the horizontal distance between the text and the left or right edge of the image.

The value is measured in pixels (px).

Margin Y

Set the vertical distance between the text and the top or bottom edge of the image.

The value is measured in pixels (px).

Rotation

Rotate the text watermark.

The rotation range is from 0 to 180 degrees.

Tile

Enable repeated display of the text across the image:

• No
• Horizontal
• Vertical
• Both horizontal & vertical

Tiling helps increase protection against image reuse.

Tile Padding X

Set the horizontal spacing between repeated text elements when tiling is enabled.

The value is measured in pixels (px).

Tile Padding Y

Set the vertical spacing between repeated text elements when tiling is enabled.

The value is measured in pixels (px).

Apply To

Choose which images within a product the text watermark should be applied to:

• All images
• First photo only
• Skip first photo
• Second photo only
